ON-TRACK VIOLATIONS: (If you are involved in any of the following events you MUST pit in immediately.)
  • Body contact
  • Passing under any caution (yellow) flag
  • Passing in a no-pass zone (HPDE 1, 2 & 3)
  • Passing without a point by (HPDE 1, 2 & 3)
  • Spinning (all but racers)
  • Four wheels off (HPDE 1, 2 & 3)
  • Two wheels off more than once (HPDE 1, 2 & 3)
  • Over-aggressive driving (HPDE 1, 2 & 3)
  • Over-aggressive passing
Any violations, or improper passing, may result in the end of your session or the end of your day without refund.
 
IMPORTANT NOTES Groups may be combined - listen for announcements.
  • No children are allowed near the track area and must be supervised by an adult at all times.
  • Should an incident occur during a run group, causing a delay, the time will be made up by shortening the time for each group until we are back on schedule.
 
FLAGS USED and MEANINGS:
Yellow Flag (motionless): Absolutely no passing is permitted until passing the next manned flag station not showing a yellow flag.
Yellow Flag (waving): Danger, be ready to stop. No passing until past the next manned flag station not showing a yellow flag.
Double Yellow Flags: Full-course yellow. Beware of emergency vehicles. No passing until any yellow flags are displayed.
Black Flag (waved or pointed): Officials want to talk to you. Complete current lap and pull into the pits for consultation.
Black Flag (standing): Everyone proceed cautiously to pits.
Checkered Flag: Session is over. Complete current lap at slower pace without any passing and exit via Pit Lane.
Red Flag: Quickly stop on the side of the track, in a safe place. No passing. When red lifts proceed slowly to pits.
Blue Flag: Another car is gaining or you are holding up a faster car and should point it by.
Yellow with Red Stripes: Debris flag. Slippery condition may be present.
White Flag: Emergency vehicle (or slow vehicle) on course, pass with extreme caution.
Black Flag with Orange Ball (Meatball): Something is wrong with your car. Proceed to pits for consultation.
